From Summer Offsite to Idea Architects Summit
What began as an annual Summer Offsite evolved into a more immersive, conference-style experience designed to bring the company together around ideas, collaboration, and the work ahead.
Each year had its own visual identity and personality. One year leaned into the feeling of an end-of-summer pool party, with a bold, playful world built around neon, tropical imagery, and a little bit of nostalgia. The event eventually evolved into the Idea Architects Summit, a multi-session experience where employees could choose sessions based on their interests and connect with colleagues across disciplines.
I co-hosted a session on how creatives work with non-designers, developing its visual language within the larger Summit identity (that was lead by the CD and executed by the talented Sr Designer). My cat Pesto made his spotlight into this particular session's creative.
The work was ultimately about more than making an internal event look good. It was about using design to create energy, establish a sense of occasion, and make people want to participate.
